Description
Inspired by Melanie Safka's 1970's hit song "Brand New Key" www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5LzOl… . Also inspired by Heather Graham's character "Roller Girl" in the movie "Boogie Nights". The painting was done with Paint Tool Sai and the lettering was done in Microsoft PowerPoint.I suggest listening to the song while viewing the painting to get the full effect, though I doubt many will. The song is cute and only a couple minutes long, but chalked full of hidden innuendos that actually got the song banned from several radio stations.

Also an interesting take on "key". Way "back in the day," skate keys were used to attach roller skates to everyday shoes.
