Description
Finally, a new acrylic painting! (It has been quite a long time since the last one)I started a totally abstract background a few weeks or even months ago and layed the canvas aside because of feeling not inspired back then. A few days ago, I had ideas and motivation to make a surreal painting of it.

I'm psyched to see you back at the acrylics (not to disparage your digital, but there seems an added level of interest for me when it's a more traditional and tangible painting). To me, it looks as if something is perhaps being born-like an egg (or an alien sun??), or maybe it is some alien artifact which fell to this planet and is emerging from a crater. Either way I like it quite a lot!

Hey Paul, thanks a lot! Interesting thoughts, I don't have ideas that clear about the image...
Concerning the second ruined arch: could also look good, but I don't like to do symmetrical paintings that much and here it may let the rock on the left look strange/unrecognizable. So it would have to have another background, I guess.
Of course, it won't take that long again until I upload another acrylic painting!
