Description
Very much a traditional wash piece, the kind i haven't done for a while. Is a picture, that i somewhat neede to enhance to get it across (must get bigger scanner)Its an dark elf general or noble from the Warhammer universe (for the warhammer enthusiasts among you: an dark elf coldone knight without its mount). Bitter and envious creatures, they were cast out from their ancestral birthlands, to the wretched and barren plains of Nagarythe. Despite being dark creatures who devote their lives to their war god and general indulgeance and debauchery, they remain haughty arrogant and most of all noble beings, pale stained reflections of the chivalrous beings they once were.

Nice concept and detail. I'm sure you could give me some great tips on the Warhammer worlds. I really love everything expect the character's legs seem off- maybe the knee joint in the armor is a bit low? That would be my only crit. Keep up the fun work.

I love the details here...I'd like know what medium you used. Also the monochrome effect with the touch of red is a knock-out for drama.

Eh krijg nou wat! Hoe kan het nou dat ik deze nog niet gezien heb? hmmm, weet het ook niet, heb het denk ik gewoon te druk gehad. slap excuus he?!
In ieder geval het is zeker weer een erg vet schilderij, mooie details. Zeker wel een +fav waard!

Ik ben zelf ook druk opzoek naar een huisje voor mezelf, maar het wil nog niet echt lukken.. idioot lange wachttijden hierzo

geen heimwee hoor. Sterker nog, ik vertelde m'n moeder dat dus laast, waarna te zeggen dat ik niet meer terug zou willen. Ze werd helemaal emotioneel. Ach ja moeders...
Hier ook bizarre wachttijden. Gelukkig kon ik iets fixen. Mn stiefvader heeft een restaurant im Delft, en kent daar dus een 'eleboel mensen. Via via en zo. Woning stichtingen, starters woningen, tis allemaal drama.
Moet nog steeds een housewarming party houden... Ik ben lui

jezus nick, daar valt niet veel meer aan toe te voegen he, wat een berg comments, logisch ook.
dit klinkt vast heel stom, maar ik vind de kleuren van de mouw zo mooi.

die mouw heeft me ook erg veel hoofdpijn gekost (letterlijk, aspirne vragende hoofdpijn), rood is zo'n lastige kleur om te belichten...
eindeloze lagen van witte inkt, rode wash, bordeaux rood, rood met zwart, verdunde zwarte inkt, puur rood, witte lijntjes... aargh.
ben blij dat t je opviel.....

Dank waarde Dorderechter, ja een dark elf. Deze is eigenlijk n beetje jouw schuld, je had t over iets met een helm schilderen, dus toen kwam ik uit bij een coldone knight. Kvond alleen een bloot (ha! hij zei bloot) hoofd koeler (der). ach ja....

yea i know what you mean in terms of time consumption, but if you dont think about it as work, and more an enjoyable part of your lifestyle, looking more positively at the process than at the conclusion, then its all worth while

yeah there is that, it wasnt really intentional, it was sorta the way it turned out on my digital cam, couldn't be bothered to remove it. It actually sorta appeals ta me.. (well now it does anyways)
