Yet another piece, situated in the Warhammer 40k background. A giant piece(a2) both in size as time to complete(50+ hours), it was painted in spare time over a 5 month period. wnet trough various levels of frustration while painting it, but learnt a lot. All acryllic paint and ink. Photo taken by acre-010, Big up man!For those unfamiliar with wh40k(a dark gothic scifi table top wargame game). The dude in the middle is an Eldar warlock(an alien wizard), surrounded by the xenphobic inhabitants(often part of some sort of violent gang, hence the weaponry) of an hive (big ass city).

Beautiful color work....it really gives you a feel when you look at it...when i went over it a litle closer...the swords um a tiny bit bent.,...everythings proportioned well and the expressions are well done..you really know what your doing..the lighting or w.e it is looks great...just a very well done piece of artistry. keep up the amazing work.

Very Warhammer indeed. I would have enjoyed this picture a lot more if you had put more emphasis on the warlock, and perhaps made the background a bit less 'glorious' and a bit more grungy, but other than that, no complaints.

This piece originally went with a story of an riot on a grand imperial square i wrote, but it was a poor half hearted attempt, and i threw it away...

My own chapter. Looks like the dark templar. But I call them the dark knights.
Don't play often cause I don't have anybody that play's on a regular basis. My step brothers' got an army but havn't played with him in nearly a month.
Um... lets see.
3 Tactical squads
2 5 man scout squads + 1 10 man squad
1 7 man assault squad
1 Dreadnaught
5 terminators
3 predator tanks (2 troop killers, 1 tank killer)
1 don't remeber the name... um... the one with 14 armor all around, biggest space marine tank.
1 bike squad
1 Devastator squad
1 half command squad (1 commander, 1 apothacary, 4 marines)
Not sure if I'm missing anything out... but yes this is all I remember for now...

I like the concept.... but I just don't have the time to build the sets and paint everything. I also don't think I could find someoen to play with that wouldn't mind all teh dice rolls, hehe.
