Description

For this subject i was inspired by travelling in Malindi, Kenya.

The desolation of the landscape and the sense of loss is perceived by yhe look of the girl who, like looking for comfort, clutching her dress.

I played with the stark contrast between figure and landscape with small islands of color and texture in a substantially monochrome frame.

Acrylic and oil pastels on canvas 60x60x3,5 cm, signed on the front.

A final glossy varnish is applied.
