I really like how this looks! Your style is unique!
Maybe trying to lighten up the opacity on the shading just a little,
and trying to make it more of a gradual gradient instead of just a
hard shadow? Also adding some hilights would give it some more
depth! Another thing is to not use just black outlines. An example
of this making it look better would be in things like the paw-pad/
middle of the hand. If you used a darker pink instead of the black
this would make it less drastic and more pleasing to the eye!
Also, the Bag doesn't have to be facing full-front. If you give it
more of a two-thirds, or profile view, this would add another illusion
of depth to the piece and enhance the quality!
I hope these help ;u; But keep up the good work! Practice makes perfect!
I just did my first digital painting today and I'm also at the point where
I don't know how to improve, but I'm looking up tutorials and watching other
people do their pieces and that's how I'm improving. ;u;

Thank you! I don't mind I have a style tbh ;v;
I thnk what I'm doing is cell shading, because like softer/gradient shadings would be like paitning style right?
Hmm I get what tou say by different colours lines! I could give it a try!
Perhaps, I've just got to work on my perspective
thank you very much for the advice!! ~

My style is cartoon ;n; I've always been jealous of my
classmates because they're realistic and it took me
a long time to accept that this is just my style. I CAN
do realistic, but I'm a lot better at cartoon-style.
Cel shading (often misspelled as "cell shading") or toon shading is a type of non-photorealistic rendering designed to make 3-D computer graphics appear to be flat by using less shading color instead of a shade gradient or tints and shades.
Yes, I believe that is what you're doing. I had to look
up the definition because I didn't want to lie to you. ;n;
What program do you use? I might be able to help you
with different kinds of shading. ALSO even if you do cel
shade, use a lighter black to do it OR you can always use
the same color that you're shading on, just a darker shade
of that color!
Perspective is something we all have to think about, because
when we think of something we automatically think of it head
on. So to turn it takes some effort.

Tips for improving(If you want them)
-if your are going for a more painting -esque look, thin or decrease opacity on the linework
-smooth strokes(This won't happen if you do not own a tablet, i do not know if you do or not)
-instead of shading with black n white, experiment! Shade with dark blues or purples! Highlight with warm colors for sunlight!
I do love this piece though!! Keep drawing <3

I tried to think opacity but it just makes it look wonky! I'll definitely try a painting style sometime
I don't own a tablet haha, I want to get one tho!!
Ohhh yeah I'll try to shade with colours depending on what kind of light is hitting, y'know? tho i'm not too familiar with highlighting so I'll keep trying!
Thank you for the advice! I'm still learning, and I'll never learn more if I don't open to advice/criticism!
