Let me just say, this is a super headcanon of mine. I really do believe that after all elves left Thranduil had such a connection to the forest that he just couldn't go. I actually am writing a story but is such a slow proses.
Also, I've been following some the things you post and I have to say your style is LOVEY. It's very unique (I guess part of that is because of the nature of it) but I really like it. This one I don't just ?like it? I ADORE it, seriously. it awesome.
I just UGH, I'm in love with this peace <3 The red coat is particularly beautiful. Keep up the good work

Thanks for the warm comment - it inspires new achievements.) Yes, there is such a "legend" about King Thranduil, "the only one remaining." Well, maybe also Arwen, who sleeps on the hill Kerin-Amroth.))
Once I read good stories on this headcanon. I would read your story with interest when it is ready. I am pleased that you like my style, although I hardly understand what it is - I am an amateur and I paint pictures without preliminary thinking, composition and colors and everything else is formed in the process, depending on the mood. This is a constructive rest after work sometimes) "Oblivion of the elves" it's very mercurial paint, like most dark pictures. I came to the conclusion that it is not possible to adequately photograph it. Then some elements, tones and details go into the shade, then others. Therefore, I hate photographing pictures, they do not turn out to be the same as in reality, in which much more information can be read in smears than in the "bald" digital version. This picture shows, alas, not all. But I'm glad if my attempts to do painting inspire you - it's only reason, why I published it.

Wellp, that story may never see the light of day XD
And well, from my point of view you don't have to plan everything (I mean, not all the time, planning is good too) it gives you awesome results at any given moment!
You keep on and practice, is the best any of us can do. And the photograph thing, hon, I know what you mean. Photographing anything to look like reality is really hard, so don't beat yourself up. If you have like, a camera with manual settings this can also be achieved with practice. Or at least get a very close picture of the original colors.
