Description

This was an old fractal I made a long time ago. I took some woodgrain texture from a piece of furniture (I photographed it last night with a telephoto lens), touched it up, inverted it and altered the hues to match the fractal's purples and whites, then superimposed it in a layer. After that I used Analog Efex to create a zoom/rotate blur effect, did a dark vignette as well (which amped some almost invisible details) and I called it quits.

You're looking at a Chaotica 2 fractal and some inverted purple woodgrain faded to a translucent state over top of it. I think it worked out nicely.
