I like this a lot if there's a black version of April is it possible if there's a latina version of Karai. I know Karai is a Japanese name but I mean why not. Just being curious

FUn fact: There is a debate in the original Β Mirage Comics on whether April O'Neil was either black or white. Despite the comics being well..black and white. There were times when her skin tone was either lighter or darker. Examples such as these.

And from the story I heard TMNT co creator Kevin Eastman wanted to make her of Irish Descents (The one who is more well known with the Red Hair which almost every incarnation uses) and the co creator Peter Laird wanted to make her black. However both aren't on speaking terms and we'll never know. :/ But a very interesting thing on TMNT history.

Well for Angel I don't think they ever specified her race in the cartoon. (Her skin was fairly light in her first appearance, but later on her skin got much darker)

as for April, yea people will probably be angry, but if she is a well-written character then I don't think people would mind in the long run.
