Description The Shard, from One London Place. For non-Londoners 'the Shard' is the newest (still unfinished) controversial addition to London's skyline. Situated just behind London Bridge Station and wedged in by Guy's Hospital and Guy's & Thomas' (Guy's) Campus of Kings College London it's due for completion in the summer.

This is the colour version but I prefer the mono version which can be seen here [link] The bright spot / halo where the top of the building will eventually be is the result if Gamma reduction (negative Gamma) in the HDR processing. It's an accident that obscures the unfinished nature of the building ultimately (in my view) makes the image.
