Description
The Hweè Aàn are aquatic arthropoids roughly the height of an average human at the head, and about as long as they are tall.
They have complex mouthparts that they use to manipulate tools, or objects, and they live on the bottom-side of the half-mile thick ice sheets of the ocean-world, Hweè Aà. To the hweè aàn, what we know of as “up” is down, and vice versa. They are omnivorous, and have a basic understanding of agriculture, growing various seaweeds, and raising large, crab-like arthropoids for food, and for their shells.
They are a stone-age society, and have a communal social-structure based around the mutual sharing of resources, and labor.
They were discovered by the Teehleetala in the year 2148 by the Teehleetala, and Hweè Aà was declared a sanctuary. No one is allowed down to the planet. Observation is done through small, disguised, probes.
