The recent fire at Notre Dame and Easter holidays inspired me to render this work. The idea behind this image is my assumption that medieval monks likely had to struggle to find meaning in some of the old texts. With a lifetime devoted to translating and interpreting the written word of God, this work might, at times, strengthen or challenge their faith.
