Okay, i wanted to make something on Natsu being END, the strongest demon made from Zeref, because i thought it was cool thought on what is to happen so i made this.Since i am also a major Nalu fan, i just had to draw Natsu with Lucy. I also believe in the future chapters Lucy will play a big part on Natsu being END.

I agree there are a lot of unanswered questions for the story itself. I wish there was some break in Natsu with a sort of demon/dragon-like self of him that was controlled by the holder of the book (or just have a dark other personality of himself) and have some more connection with Natsu and Lucy themselves. For example, the idea of one magic -- the origin of all magic -- that Lucy brings up, saying it is about love. That would have been a great way for her to save Natsu if he did end up in the darker form of himself.
With the new development with Fairy Tail 100 years quest is just a sort of spin-off to the original manga, so I think Mashima had no plans to make it, so the idea of Igneel true son is just a new development he created in the story which he rolled with.
Yes, it doesn't make much sense, but also Igneel true son did say the male dragon mates with the female and then leaves (leaving the female to do the raising), so maybe Igneel knew he had a child through his breeding season, but never interacted with that son. Ignia even said that Dragons don't form families. For Igneel, the only one he truly considered being close to enough to call his son was Natsu because he raised and interacted with him while teaching him dragon slayer magic. Igneel was also sealed into Natsu 400 years ago before the Eclipse Gate to the future. Natsu himself had no idea that Ignia was Fire Dragon God till the 100 year quest, so how was Igneel supposed to know as he was sealed in Natsu.
Wish the scar stayed, Mashima probably forgot to draw it, and then rolled with it. I feel like he's that type of guy. I know when a character has a lot of details when I created them and drew them again I forgot to draw a couple of things.

Also, why can Natsu absorb all other type of magic, why all them dragonslayers have at least eaten 1 other magic when it was said not to be possible?

There are really many plot holes... Mashima is a such a son of b**ch hahahaha.
Fairy Tail was different in the earlier chapters, don't know exactly why, maybe it was more detailed in explanations and dialouges,maybe was more emotional, maybe even more dark?
Now feel like fanservice everywhere and stupid jokes, seems like nothin bad ever happen, there are no consequences in what they do.
Even Gajil and Gray had a good character development, Natsu not at all.
Every damn arc seems like a sort of "reset" and then here we go again.
But maybe I'm wrong.
I'm reading Edens Zero and seems enjoyble, i think Mashima got bored with Fairy Tail that's why he end it quickly and with the bad ending, EZ is much more dark and really good graphically, but I hate the fact that is so similar to FT, even same characters.
Why he didn't continue FT instead, lol.

Maybe the dragon slayers are only able to absorb one other magic, or at least have a limit to how many different magics they can consume, but that's all up to how Mashima would put it in the story. This is all speculation from me.
The exceeds that came from Edolas created their own town somewhere, I believe, so they are they aren't really apart of the story besides the Edolas arc.
Ankhseram is that god who cursed Zeref, the only real god we know of it the god who took over Dimaria, the god of time Chronos. It is the only god we know of that exist, and we can assume that gods exist in Fairy Tail. In Fairy Tail, however, Ankhseram only punished those who violated death by bringing someone back. I bet (if Ankhseram exists) the god didn't care about what was happening, and Zeref didn't have the motive to go after the god himself, so the story the Mashima created who be completely different if
Zeref tried to find a way to get to Ankhseram to break his curse. Zeref never found an interest in going after the god, but rather he began losing his mind. But that is all if Mashima had put it in the story. All speculation.
The black magic puppet did come back in the story for a short time, but there is only one puppet. It is a disadvantage for someone to have that puppet, because it can only affect one person at a time, and someone can defeat that person or make them let it go. So the puppet isn't a strong black magical object to come back into the story.
I don't think it changed that much. There was fan service since the beginning and it was a lot simpler back then. The story began to get more complicated when bringing in the idea of groups trying to bring Zeref back. In the beginning, they made Zeref sound like some sort of god, but really was just a man who had been dealing in using and creating black magic. That's when the story began to take hold as Fairy Tail wasn't just dealing with evil groups that believe Zeref was some sort of god, who they should follow, but Zeref's demons and Zeref himself.
Each arc. was a different enemy, but most of the arcs had something that involved Zeref in some way. They defeat one enemy and everything might be fine for a while, but there is another enemy around the corner for them.
Natsu will be Natsu. I honestly feel like Natsu has grown (slowly) as a character; growing in his own way. His personality is dense, but he has learned and matured. He used to just jump into things a lot more than he is now. He actually thinking of his actions a bit more. With Gajeel and Gray, they are more mature than Natsu is, they think more than Natsu does, so their character development is a lot more significant than a dense character is.
Who knows, maybe Mashima was getting tired of Fairy Tail, but he's only human and humans get bored and want to start something new. It is difficult to make a story and keep with it for so many years.
I have been reading Edens Zero and I have enjoyed the series very much so far. I like that it is a bit darker than Fairy Tail was, but still having that Friendship is everything aspect.

Just saw this and actually before fairy zero you hear zerif say I think it was "only you can defeat me Master end........ Etherious natsu dragonial" which acronymed is END. Which leads to a shocker if you know who zerif is and his last name.

It will still be a bitter event, because it's been stated that, should Zeref die, then all of the Etherious demons created by him will die too. So even if Natsu did rampage, and Lucy helps him gain control... he'll just have to die for Zeref to ever truly be defeated.

I am excited as well for Natsu to turn into this state xD I love demons of all kinds.
At this point, FT reminds me a little of InuYasha. Loved that series as well through many years.
Anyone remeber this one scene in one of the InuYasha movies when Kagome kissed Inuyasha to take him out of his raging demon transformation?
I think something similar will happen with Natsu and Lucy. At least I hope so^^.
