Ha Mabamon... He's smart but he will force you to find the answers yourself. Creating his thought process on doubt was a bit difficult though (had to go through so many quotes).
But the "your first guess is usually your best one" is something my old physics teacher told us. His test were so hard that he only allowed students to ask him personal questions if they got 100 on the test. There was only one 100 the whole year XD Anyway he suggested to us to stick with out first guess (grades in the whole class were bad first quarter)unless we were absolutely sure it was wrong and in truth that bit of advice helped.

Love Mabamon's expression in the second - to - last panel. Great character development, by the way; it's nice to see Amaya starting to work through her self doubt. Good idea for Mabamon to...'train' her.
