Vanguard could work, bur I was actually going for a soldier, because vanguard uses biotic implants which would translate to ponies as magic. But than again I wanted make Rarity an infiltrator so RD could be a vanguard

Well, I only suggested Vanguard 'cause I had an idea for each of the Mane 6's class:

Twilight: Adept (Should be obvious...)
Applejack: Soldier (She's the strongest)
Rainbow Dash: Vanguard (Fastest)
Pinkie Pie: Infiltrator (Physics? Gigglesnort.)
Rarity: Sentinel (Mostly hands-off)
Fluttershy: Engineer (Pets!)

those are actually slightly better than what I came up with
but I always wanted to give infiltrator to Rarity because she just looks sexy with sniper rifle
