I have a rather over active imagination which helps quite a lot and an interest in all things futuristic and sci fi in nature which is where i draw quite a lot of my inspiration.
All the art in my gallery pretty much started life as a blank canvas. due to my complete lack of drawing skills, all my work is done on the fly as it were, with very little to no reference material.

Since i have Version 10 i try to use Bodypaint, but it isn't easy.

Looks good! what program did you use? the spaceship ( I assume that that is what it is) looks very detailed, but a little fragile where the 'wings' are connected to the body. here is my version of 'advanced critique' if that helps.
