Description A model that poses regularly had her father come in to sit for the Palette and Chisel recently. A very tall man, he had a strong glare whenever he sat down, and out of everyone in the room he decided to look at me. He put his hand on his face which definitely made him look like someone that just heard you tell him when he didn't want to hear.

I went with a stroke by stroke approach. I reused a previous canvas from earlier in the day from a painting that didn't work out so this was definitely the largest 3 hour alla prima I've done. I ran out of time to add another layer of strokes but then again, sometimes it's good to stop before you get a chance to ruin it.

The stroke economy on this is just excellent. Really top notch piece.
