Only a little side note: If you painted this 33% in acrylic then it can be done 66% in digital at the most.

I was seeking an image of the Magdalene for a piece I was writing last week. This would have been a glorious addition.... alas.... smiles...

Both a classic, and a futurist archetype. Very Alex Grey-esque. Nice work.

beautifully balanced mixed media, would be cool to meet some saucy lass with that substance in a jar she carries around with her.

I like how the images incorporates elements of the psychedelic with common iconic themes, such as the mandorla from which Mary emerges... a convergence of the two circles of Heaven and Earth.

Very eye-opening.

It had been a while since I've been here, but I'm grateful everytime I come out to see that someone like you is describing the things that you are. How refreshing this is!
Not to put you on the spot or anything, but I was wondering what was going through your mind at the time you crafted that royal and majestic universal light lattice?
More nodes, I should say - which, is another thing I like about it.
There is an explosion of goddess type brilliance I feel is owed in large part to your imaginative wanderings across that region. Especially, in particular, right were the nodes intersect with crown, hidden brow, and highlights within the curvature of the surrounding space.
I have not yet seen the latest Sub Rosa - I love the publication - I think my computer was on the fritz or the site was just down last time I tried it.
I love what you're doing, I hope the editors know how fortunate they are to be working with you.
I can see the acrylic and the digital, but the other one percent seems to barely evade me!

Your a great talent, and you continue to strive for your achievements where most await hand-outs, so your blessings are made as opposed to happenstance.
You keep that true direction - your mind is really reflecting your will - and I identify the whole package as sound and strong.
My best to you, Adam!

peace

Another great addition to your gallery. Dare I quibble with a minor point? I'm thinking the right hand (figure's right, viewers left) seems too large. Though truthfully, I only came to this thought because I was so taken by the piece that I studied it at length.

What is Sub Rosa 4? Online magazine?

Thanks for the suggestion Bob. Yeah Sub Rosa is an online magazine at The Daily Grail [link] , I've been the SR illustrator since issue 2. Please take a look. It is downloaded in PDF form.
