Judge Kramer is a member of the SJS, having rooted out over two dozen unfit Judges, often with entrapment via an 'unjudicial' liaison. The last of which apparently resulted in the loss of her arm ( replaced by a cybernetic arm ) when she tried to arrest corrupt Wally Squad member Lenny Zero who as well as committing theft had apparently fallen in love with her when she masqueraded as a civilian. Zero took her actions badly, Kramer it seems, couldn't have cared less.

Kramer follows the typical female Judge mold of being stern and hard natured. And is in some respects the opposite of DeMarco, having the solid belief that love impairs judgement, and seems to come across as quite detached, commanding and possibly a bit bitchy.

Believing, as did Justice Department, that Lenny Zero was dead, Kramer was later chosen to lead the security detail for a sizable cash convoy. Her selection was in fact set up by the very alive Lenny Zero, who was intending to pull a heist on the convoy, knowing full well how the Judges would behave gave him an insight few criminals have.

The result was Kramer being 'responsible' for a debacle that resulted in the loss of the cash convoy, and due to a massively potent airborne aphrodisiac gas, the cadre of Judges, including Kramer, were unable to prevent themselves from engaging in a literal orgy ( much like love, Justice Department doesn't look on such things kindly for Judges to be doing ), the gas would also erase their memories of the event afterwards ( super roofie gas... ). Additionally footage of Kramer in 'action' with two other Judges was recorded by Lenny Zero.

If Kramer does ever make a return, i suspect at worst she would be demoted back onto ( currently much needed after the 'Day of Chaos' ) Street Judge duties, with the other Judges involved all having to be posted in locations as far from each other as possible.

The fact that she firmly keeps her emotions in check made her a more interesting character to me than Zero, and i could imagine her going full 'Krakatoa' if she found out he was not only alive, but responsible for her physical and psychological humiliations.

For anyone who has followed my Journal from late August, perhaps this Judge needed no introduction, since i vented a good deal of irritation repeatedly towards the 'Lenny Zero' story that she featured in ( it just pushed the wrong buttons ).

The SJS or 'Special Judicial Squad', are traditionally the 'heels' of Justice Department, they are there to weed out corruption within the ranks of the Judges, but they were often the root of corruption in Justice Department in many of the early Dredd stories.

In more recent years their portrayal has been a little more balanced on the whole, and they are now used far less as pompous antagonists for Dredd ( some respect Dredd as the benchmark of being a Judge, others want to nail him for anything ).

As for Kramer, I wasn't sure what colour her hair was, the stories artwork was in black and white, so i while she might be a light brunette/pink/whatever, i settled for blonde.
