i like solitary trees, haven't found mine yet. you have been more lucky .... mellow colors and the various lines of the landscape are catching my eye.

What does that mean?

Basho is a place and yakusoku is a promise. So the best translation is something like : promised Land, not in the religious point of view. It's also a part of the name of an animation called "Kumo no mukรด, Yakusoku no bashรด", the english name is "The Place Promised in Our Early Days". In this movie the narration is great and the landscapes are wonderful.
It really remind me of this movie. If you had the opportunity to watch it do!
