The way the trees become more shiny as the river goes makes me think of a goal to achieve. Something like "this way please". You feel attracted to this point.

There's a lot of aberration at the top and the rest is underexposed

Yes, the top leaves a lot to be desired; any advice on how to go about correcting it? (I tend to get similar results quite often, but I've not figured out how to avoid them yet)
As for the underexposure, I did actually shot this at -1EV, intending it to be fairly dark so as to put more emphasis on where the sun is shining on the trees further around the corner.

Personally, I process all my RAW files in Adobe Camera Raw, and there's an option to reduce chromatic aberrations. In Photoshop CS4 there is probably an option also, or maybe just color correction would work.

Oh, right, I might try some colour correction then. My camera doesn't shoot raw, and I don't have PS atm, but it sounds like I could do with it. Thanks for your advice, I'll bear it in mind with future shots.
