Adam's Pony Pattern Giveaway! And plush! (this 1)What are you giving away?3 copies of my pony plush sewing pattern... yes, the one I use to sew my plushies. :iconraritysmile2plz:
Pics will be updated later, (not to mention the ears themselves.) Pattern will include horn and basic wing shapes.

So, I think I’ve just about got the head size down after enlarging it 10%, though I might make some more changes down the road. I might try a gusset at some point. There is wire in the mane and tail (which I should've lifted from the ground plane a bit) for best posing ability. Any feedback and constructive criticism is much appreciated!

I think she is very nicely done. The body layout is excellent, and the head looks the right size. However, her head seems a bit thin when viewed face on. Maybe adding a bit more fabric to the back of the head?

Man this Rarity is beautiful <3 i love the way you did her mane, i still have no idea how to do it 8c i made a mini rarity and i sewed her curls but they didnt stay as curly as this 8C MAN IM SO JELLY. But she is amazing! i still want an applejack!

Heheh. Yeah, her mane is a little different, but I think the main key is length. I generally only use wire for the tail now.

You know, in terms of body shape this is one of the best pony plushes I've seen. You've done a great job of translating 2D into 3D. I might be tempted to make the chest a little less pronounced in future if I was you, I can't quite decide though, maybe it's just the dimensional change that's making me think it looks a little odd.
Anyway, I'll just resume wishing I had somewhere to put a plushie...

I can't tell you how encouraging that is to hear! My last three patterns weren't all that great IMO for various reasons. The reason why I started this is to appreciate the work behind pony plushies. And I certainly agree with your feedback. My previous ones don't seem to have it as pronounced and I have to figure out why! 
Well, I'm hoping to have fun with beanies next month. They would be a lot smaller.

And don't cut your plushies down. Sure there is more development and technique to develop, but you have to start somewhere. I may well be up for a trade sometime in the future. Even if a lot of my time disappears when I finally land a regular job, I will keep at it for as long as I can. I love your sitting Derpy plush!
