Marylin is so hard to do right. I have scrolled through dozens of Marylin portraits and this one stands out. You have her exactly. There is real sorrow in that expression. Your style is quite naΓ―ve (maybe because of your age?) but that actually works to your advantage in this instance. The other portraits I have viewed have 'tried too hard' (if that makes sense?) and have missed capturing her essence. You have let your instinctive natural artistic ability flow into this portrait by not getting too bogged down in medium and technique. And it worked.
