This may be my most ambitious concept art painting to date. I used very little reference and primarily painted this from imagination. The idea was to create an angel that could give the demon I recently painted a run for it's money. For that I needed a warrior angel. Archangels are known as "chief" angels or are extremely high-ranked.Archangel is a painting that explores more in depth a dream I had about spiritual warfare. This is an attempt by me to bring some of that dream to life through imagination and concept design. I plan on producing more characters and even some storyboards and sequential art, so stay tuned!
