Another color sketch of mine, this time my favorite Marvel female: She-Hulk. Her newest comic was absolute gold (until it got bogged down in all that Civil War bull - I can't speak for it, goor or bad, since then). She's just got an attitude that I really dig, and a uniqueness to her stories, her personality, and her particular spin on the whole superhero bit.Also: I was playing with texture overlays on this one, after coming across this excellent digi-painting [link] and this neat tutorial [link] Wound up pulling way back in the end, but I learned some things I'll definitely be using later on. Edutainment!

It's pretty much just what she wore with that costume. I just bulked them up a bit for aesthetic balance. Glad you enjoy!

In this particular case, it means that since She-Hulk is primarily tight and curvy, adding gloves that are loose and bulky gives a contrast. Both wind up looking better because they set each other off.

Gorgeous pic and very vibrant colors. She-Hulk is my fav. comic female and it bothers me when Marvel puts the wrong writer on her comic.
She is a great character with some sex appeal and humor that is unmatched.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate the kind words. I like my She-hulk to look tough and actually somewhat "Hulky," and it bothers me when people draw her like any old normal girl, just with green skin. She shouldn't be muscle-bound, but she should be powerful. Otherwise, she isn't really a Hulk at all, now, is she? What's the point?

I agree. She should look feminine yet "hulked" out too. Her personna knowing she's strong, sexy, and powerful is what makes her appealing and funny.

I highly reccomend the first three trades from the most recent series (two from the original, cancelled Dan Slott series, and one from the current ongoing). After that, it got bogged down in all that Civil War crap, and I haven't looked at it since. The art went south and hasn't come back, and the stories...well, it's Marvel. After Civil War, nothing's that interesting.

I'll definitely be seeing Hot Fuzz. And it's tricky to eat a digital picture of a woman's legs. I could maybe get you the original drawing and you could eat THAT, but it's much less candy-licious. Still, I'd like to see you try the whole 'eating it' thing. Maybe. Never mind...

She-Hulk is truly great. Despite what my first premonitions were... then again that is usually what happens when I read your comics, take for example Starman. Sheer brilliance, I just finished the last book today.

IT WAS GREAT! I really didn't dig Tony Harris' style at first but as I read on I found that his style was the only style I enjoyed throughout the books. Great story!!!
