Origin: Parabello is a corruption of ‘portobello’ that uses the first part of the word ‘parasol’. It also resembles the word ‘parabellum’, which translates roughly to ‘prepare for war.’ It is typically associated with the phrase “Si vis pacem, para bellum”, meaning "If you want peace, prepare for war" ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parabell… ). This is a play on the need for Pokémon to fight in classic games, despite the overtly peaceable behavior of this species. The height in imperial and weight in pounds are references to the stats of the Hearthstone cards Blink Fox and Marin the Fox respectively (3/3 and 6/6).
