I think this is a lot closer of a fight than people make it out to be. Remember, Jiren was taking on SSB Kaioken x20 Goku, SSBE Vegeta, and Full Power Android 17 all at once like it was nothing. He took on their full power blasts all at once, and just stood there, then pushed them all back at once.
Meanwhile, Broly was just fighting SSB Goku and Vegeta. I know they did get a zenkai boost after the ToP, but I can't assume they got THAT much stronger from it, as it's implied in the movie that this takes place right after the tournament.
Not to mention...Jiren is an actual fighter. Broly fights more out of animalistic instinct than skill.
Not saying Jiren would win...But I do think it's closer than it appears.

All broly has is just brute strength with hardly any fighting experience yes he is stronger than jiren but has hardly any technique or experience jiren on the other hand has all that but isn't as strong so it could go either way
What bugs me the most is people think broly can beat him just cause he was confirmed to be stronger that's it just in terms of strength and people don't even bother to look at the fact he only holds the upper hand in just strength and not even experience or technique

That's the thing. You can have Batman at his strongest fight Superman (WITHOUT KRYPTONITE), he's still fighting Superman. Plus we see Jiren fight Goku and lose, Goku had no chance against Broly on his own

I wont contest that Broly is likely stronger, and may even be able to beat him a 1v1.
But Jurin isn't a Batman. He's like a Shazam or Martian Manhunter to Broly's Superman. They are not nearly as mismatched as some people might think. And I love how everyone forgets about all of Jiren's feats during the ToP, and how he picked apart every fighter on 1v1 situation. Even gaining a upperhand on UI perfected Goku.
