Just Celestia, in a plain and simple pose.I wanted a basic vector of her that I could easily reuse and edit to fit various needs. She's a nightmare to draw.

Ugh. I'm doing a vector of Celestia, Luna, the chariot, and the guards from the end of EoH (part 2) for someone. Celestia is just small enough in the frame to be annoyingly low-resolution. Thanks for uploading this vector of Celestia in a nice, neutral pose. I think I'll definitely keep referring back to it to make sure I correctly fill in curves and strokes that I can't see.

Yeah, I noticed too. Her legs are really, really long and thin. I always thought it's because she's supposed to be a horse, not a pony.

main problem with Rarity is her mane
it's very curly from both sides, her face and her neck

Doesn't look bad at all. Looks positively easy, in fact. I'd say the new Rarity is worse.
But holy crap, those ponies are UGLY! Is that really supposed to be Rarity? The new Rarity would have a heart attack if she saw.

well, basically, she's just Rarity in name and "character"

what I meant by "nightmare" is about the amount of colors she has
and yeah, thing is, unlike FiM, which went the way of actual cartoony style, the olders had some sort of thing for "realistic" styled ponies

Solid colors are easy, if you know what they are supposed to be. Rainbow Dash's colors are easy too, though getting the shapes to all align right is bothersome. Celestia has that problem too, but the G3 Rarity from your link doesn't.
What makes Celestia a real nightmare though are all the gradients (and not just in the fills, but even in the strokes too), and the fact that it's difficult to figure out what her colors actually are.
I tried to use a color guide for her, but apparently her "official" colors are rather different from how she appears in the actual show. So I was left with screenshots, which isn't always the best source for exact colors.

but since I've never done Celestia digitally (you know, always used pencils and stuff), I didn't really have that much problem
just stroke harder on one side and lighter on the other

Oh my Celestia. It looks great, but actually DO miss the sparkle. I know it's supposed to be plain, but that doesn't mean I don't miss it xD
It's like having Twilight without the split in her mane and tail. It's unnatural
Besides that I will say it again, it's gorgeous.
