Description Hey guys! Long-time-no-update!

I actually wanted to wait to upload these pages until I was done with this scene--that way you guys could have the full conversation instead of just bits between weeks/month >.>;;

So, three new pages, I wish I had more to offer but I am hard at work and have nooooo free time! :'D

(And also to settle some questions I haven't been able to answer, the lady present is Katherine Kane--AKA Batwoman--not to be confused with other red-headed ladies in the DC Universe. Sorry for the confusion!)

Why does she have all those cuts on her arms?

Well... she's Kate Kane.  Look her up and you'll see exactly why she has those cuts.

She's got a pretty crazy past, like Batman, so she has a bunch of fun scars C: I'll be able to go more into detail about her later in the story.

Although, the girl in this scene isn't Babs but is Katherine Kane! C:

Babs will make a small appearance in this chapter, though

I actually have to agree with Bruce, here.  Gotham's shore has always looked dank and sludgey.

Seriously, Gotham is not a prime vacation spot. No beaches, no safe parties, no parents, no good amusement parks...

Bleh. Staying away from there!

I don't even know why the people of Gotham stay in Gotham other than stubbornness.  The poor don't have much choice.  But the rich?  If you're rich you know you are going to get robbed or worse... you have the money to move, so move!
And why do the museums keep putting up displays with diamonds, and/or cat and bird themed things when they know Catwoman and the Penguin are in town?

These are very good questions--I just… I don't understand. And people are always trying to make theme parks in Gotham, or have huge charity events… just go to the neighboring town and stay away from Gotham and Bludhaven!

If only Gotham had a reliable asylum and prison… it'll never happen. X'D

Even if I was poor, I think I'd find a way to hitchhike to another city, sure, Metropolis has the Suicide Slums, buuut… better than Crime Alley? Maybe..?

Theme parks and circuses in Gotham are always a bad idea.  In the DCnU Nightwing, when he tried to reopen both, everyone knew it was going to end in disaster, both in story and the readers.  And sure enough, Joker burned them down.  What did Dick expect, really?

Bruce Wayne has the charity events at the manor.  For one, he's Batman and has all that security, but two... he doens't actually live IN Gotham, he lives just over the bridge, in a rich part of the suburbs.  That's all the rich folks have to do, hold their events in the suburbs, not the city itself.

Blackgate prison actually is a reliable prison that is near impossible to escape from.  The problem is earthquakes crack it open, or someone bombs it.  It's run well other than that.  Arkham on the other hand is a mess.  Everything about Arkham is wrong.  People get out too easy.  The guards are easily bribed, the doctors are often nuts themselves (looking at Harley and Dr. Strange and the Scarecrow).  It doesn't rehabilitate anyone, being all cold dark stone and spooky.  And in some comics, it's implied even the ground it stands on is somehow evil.  They need to shut the place down.

Metropolis is also prone to alien and robot attack, as well as mad scientists (they actually have a law enforcment division specially equipped to deal with mad science).  But far less murders/muggings/etc.  Having the big boy in blue fly over helps deter that.  But also the citizens seem more determined to keep their city safe.  In Gotham if someone shoots you, someone else will come along and pick off any valuables off your body, and then someone else would do horrible things with your body parts.  In Metropolis they'd most likely tackle the guy before he could shoot you. In one of my favorite old Superman comics (from the 90s I think) Superman is chasing down a robber with a gun.  A woman taking out the trash notices the guy and clonks him with the trash can lid and knocks him out declaring "no guns in my neighborhood!" before Superman can even do anything.  I really like the average folks of Metropolis.

Yes. Yes to the caveman comment, that is brilliant. I love when he gets called out on that. Nice to see a new page and I really like Kathy's design. Scruffy Bruce is the best though, he looks so out of it.

Yes, he is a caveman. He is also VERY anti social.

Let me guess, Killer Croc hangs at the beach

Antisocial caveman--I think that sums up Bruce, haha X'D

I like to imagine Killer Croc tanning at Gotham's mucky beach, drinking Sunny D with cool sunglasses on. Yeah, I wouldn't want to go there, either ;D
