In my personal view of the story I always viewed the 'Uglies' as just normal poeple. People who look like we do now and the pretties as the ones looking above average. But thats my opinion, you can have your own view, but it's a book. There's no definate look to the character so please don't comment telling me that my personal drawing is wrong.
