This looks like the locket my grandmother gave me when I was a little kid. She told me that if I was being hurt, I could rub the hearts and made a wish, and angel would help it come true. On my locket, you can barely see the hearts anymore.

Ok, this is going to sound weird, but this image made me tear up.
When I was a young teenager, about 13 or 14, my mother had given me this little locket that looked EXACTLY like this, and I put it on a charm braclet. I wore it everywhere, and one day I was riding my bike and I got home and I realized my braclet was gone! I rode my bike everywhere trying to find it, when I finally found it, it had been smashed by a car 
I had somewhat forgotten about that incident until just now. This makes me think of my locket, laying on the road, before it was crunched by a tire.

я его потеряла зимой, слетел с цепочки, а моя учительница нашла его и принесла маме на работу.
