I love the use of linseed oil. It makes your artwork seem very weathered and real.

I like it with the face up, it looks kind of more surreal that way... then when you have it where the face is looking down, it makes one wonder how she got that way and what's holding her that way

i definitely prefer the one on the right. just seems a more interesting angle to show the woman. for me it kinda feels like she's lying on the floor or mid-air. i love this painting though, it would definitely work well with a series of other paintings like the other person said.

i agree, its very difficult to decide which way to place it.
it would be interesting to do a second one, so you could display it both ways at the same time. or do a series with different colour schemes or something.
