This is an adorable kitty you have here, however it appears that the image has been run through several filters and the colors are bleeding together. I really like the angle and the expression, and the combination of colors is nice (the kitty pops!).
Originality
About a 4. Cat pictures aren't unusual, but your angle is unique enough.
Technique
I would have to give a 2 or 3, so a 2.5... While the angle and expression are good, the postwork needs work. Too many filters.
Overall a pretty good picture! I would like to see the original without the postwork. ^^

You said critique, so lets do this critique style.
Vision 4/5
I'm going to assume that you knew your target, your goal in capturing this photo, or at least the inspiration came to you as quickly as the shot opportunity. The title backs up the feeling expressed in this photo. It's very up beat and even cute.
Originality 3/5
This is the hardest category to rate high in simply because most everything has been done. The angle, the picture of the cat, even the meaning. The main original thing, or at least something I haven't seen in awhile, is the angle and the color of the cat. Color of the cat wasn't your choice but hey, I'll toss you one.
Technique 4/5
You give off the appearance that you either have a good understanding of photography, or you're really good with adjusting levels on the computer. Either way, you give off a good balance of highlight and contrast and offer a bold and smooth appearance, two things I personally look for in photography. What would make this better in the future is offering some framing within the photo when taking it. Objects bordering the subject that focus the eye on said subject. Since this is a closeup it's not as needed, but I think would add a bit of originality to it.
Impact 3/5
Impact is the ability to make the audience feel something. Keeping this in mind, this photo had an "Aww, thats cute" factor which caused a smile, but was just as quickly forgotten. Not only should you make me feel, but make me remember too. Try playing with framing using objects we wouldn't expect.
Critiqued with the hope of fulfilling your wish.

I have had pets my whole life. Mainly dogs and cats. I would love a ferret or a hamster, but those will have to wait until I have my own house.
