Made for *childrensillustrator monthly theme - We'll sleep on the water.This picture is based on my Daily Sketch No. 83 and it shows Tina the stinky dog and Fryderyk the shy hamster
Do you like the way it looks? What if all the illustrations to 2010 calendar (by Adelaida) were made this way? Of course they would be more complicated and much bigger but still a mix of pencil drawing and photoshop colours. What do you think?

i like the rough strokes they have their own charm but the particular strokes in the water make it look turbulent rather than calm. Unless you're going for the characters sleeping through a storm or some sort of disturbance. You're great with colors anyway so you could refine this by lessening the pencil strokes.

Yes, you are right about the water. It was my quite first time to draw water in this way so it doesn't look as I've expected it to look (but it looks like water after all and that a good thing!
