Description
*shideh 's contest prize painting, featuring her character Terra as a child, with her fox and bird companions as babies, also. I had fun with the little birds in the nest!
Terra is such a unique character with wonderful attributes and colors; she was very interesting and challenging to paint. I'm not used to working with bright red hair, or with fur. I put far more time and effort into this than it shows...I guess my painting muse isn't fully awake yet. ^__^; Yay for Spring!

Wonderful. The colours are so vibrant - it's what I love best about all your pictures. They seem to glow. And the fur on the fox looks great, as do the little blue-tits. I must say though that my favourite part of the whole picture is the right-hand edge of the tree where the little mushrooms grow and the green glows from behind. Your work is as inspirational as ever, thank you for continuing to motivate me *bows*

This turned out wonderful. 
It does make me long for Spring, which has been cold and rainy so far. Well, I can always stare at this more if nature doesn't wish to cooperate.
