So yes, New Years Day I spent the entirety of sketching. And eating after-Christmas-sale chocolate. But this is not what I was sketching. I was actually in the middle of another elaborate forest-themed piece (which I also hope to post before I leave) when Morgan anvil-dropped this on me--I couldn't reach for a clean sheet of paper fast enough! Morgan's been so demanding on the artwork for the past few months, and he apparently wanted to have the first sketch of 2009, as well.And Morgan usually gets what he wants.

Trying to make up for lack of words, and time away
Passionately breathtaking, I love drawing in black and white, the wings are etched to the canvas beautifully, the detailed outlines of their hair , faces, expressions, beautiful, ears 'sigh' I love your artwork, it has it's own feeling of peacefulness.

Really, really beautiful. I love the strong look of Morgan, he looks so tensed, which you can tell in his hands, but his face is left serene and passionate. The girl looks a little shocked, like she wasn't aware of his advance on her, and I like how her arm is slung over his shoulder, her hand looks really relaxed in comparison to his, almost as though she's not quite aware of the situation. It fits really well with the title. And Morgan's wings are gorgeous!
