The Eleventh Doctor and Rose Tyler, in shared wonder and disbelief at seeing each other again. Rose slowly realizes that this strange man is still her Doctor, though his face has changed yet again and he is so much older and sadder, lonelier. It has been centuries for him, and he was so certain that he would never see her again. There is both pain and fondness in his eyes as touches her, as though touching a cherished memory.

Even though I'm more of an Eleven/River person, I love this idea of him meeting Rose again. I wish BBC would have done something like that in the 50th Anniversary Special. Bravo! Love this piece so much! You really captured them perfectly!

*Rose didn't know how she could convince this man, who seemed like her Doctor, but older, and sadder, and lonelier, despite the brown haired woman standing in the corner, staring in confusion at the pink-yellow human and the Last Time Lord, so she did what she would do with her Doctors, nine and ten, she kissed him*
