Your generic coupling artwork type thing.. It's not the greatest and it's coloring is very random. I chose to put him in the Zora Tunic because well... I like him in other color variations and it looks nice..Related content

I've always supported Malon/Link pairings, because they make more sense than any others, and I love how you drew them. Main parts I like about this:
1: Link's expression! He has a confident, handsome smile, as if he's saying "She's mine, and you're not gonna argue about it!"
2: Their height differences. Makes it look more like he's protecting her, as well as the fact of what girl WOULDN'T want to hug a guy who's bigger and taller than her?
3: The water tunic, of course. Makes him match her all the more, I like how you drew the lines and wrinkles in it, and overall, their poses are great.

While I understand people being surprised that it's not Zelda, I'd say it actually makes the most sense since, well look at the alternatives:
1. I for one, never remember Link actually getting together with Zelda, despite saving her so many times. I mean, since she is royalty, Link could just be intent on insuring the political stability of Hyrule, rather than "saving the damsel".
2. Ruto, Nabooru, and Saria are all too busy being sages.
So even if Malon wasn't the passionate, hardworking, and assertive woman that she shows herself to be, all the other parties except Zelda are spoken for by the plot, and Zelda is concievably not in the picture either based on the previous games. Besides, Epona is clearly playing matchmaker on this one, and who's going to argue with a horse?

Hmm, on further reflection, I think what grabs me is that her smile in a meek smile, not a lot of confidence, and his has great confidence. And, well, I'm probably projecting, heh. I'd have a problem with a girl without confidence. It's your own fault, heh, if you hadn't dropped the ends of her eyebrows her smile wouldn't look so fragile.

it's my own "fault"? Uh. rude? That's not a critique it's a direct insult. You're welcome to your opinion but I'm not changing how the picture looks because one person thinks since I dropped Malon's eyebrows when I was sketching them in that she somehow doesn't have confidence. I think thats ridiculous.

I was fine with your comments until you declared that something I drew was "my own fault" because you disagreed with how I drew it. Your opinions are not insulting, it's your manner of delivery. Your comments started out laced with patronization and grew to be openly rude. I'm not going to stoop to throwing petty idiotic insults back and forth. Your artwork clearly shows you know more about expressions so I'll let you have that one. Your gallery is great, you have awesome talent! Good luck with the CG wallpaper making thing

This will be my last response. For one thing, it's rather difficult to judge tone in a written piece, you should know this. My intended tone, in the comment you took such exception to, was actually quite light-hearted and reflective, as shown by the "heh"'s thrown in, to indicate a joking sort of mood. You failed, further, to realize that this was more a comment about myself than your art. I said, I'm probably projecting. Meaning, 'in my own life... I'd have a problem with a girl without confidence'. Then you completely skipped the point of my last sentence and chose to focus on its delivery. The point being, that her eyebrows being dropped like that gives me the impression of a lack of confidence. The point of 'your fault' was actually to indicate how the piece struck me, not that there was anything at all wrong with the way you drew it. Frankly I was taken aback by how strongly you reacted.
Now that that's over, I can only say that you must be an extremely difficult person in real-life if such a small thing so upsets you, and you are probably a perfectionist. Not necessarily a bad thing, but extremes can become unhealthy. Because no one would reasonably become so upset by such a comment, especially before asking for clarification. I was trying to be playful, and you read into my comment a 'patronizing tone' and 'open rudeness'. And now you have insulted me, quite openly and obviously, when I have not done the same to you. Grow. Up.

The only critique to mention for me would be that Link's eyes look a little funny. But other than that, I like the Zora tunic, it's so rich-looking. I like his knee thought, x_x;.
