This outfit is my own design.This is not a recreation of a character of any sort, like I usually do. The story behind this outfit is that my sisters Jessica and Leah were doing a sort of "modeling school" and one of their final projects was that they had to make their own outfits for a runway show. The theme was "metal" and naturally I was called in to rescue them. Growing up I was the one who did the drawing for my baby sisters' projects, (I have 3 sisters) and so this was no different. Though this time it was not sketching a lioness for a report cover, or painting a picture for an art project. I had literally a week to come up with a design that individually fit the body style and personality of each sister. For Jessica this was the outfit chosen. Jessica is a strong girl, she's my gym buddy and she's very muscular and lean. She has strong shoulders and a very tight tummy. I wanted to show off her mid section and shoulders, and so I came up with this design. Slightly metallic, staying in the theme with the dangling chains and the silver fabric. On the shirt there is actually tons of bead work sewn in so that it sparkles tremendously when she walked. She looked very glamorous.
The girls were unable to model the costumes for me so I had to model them myself. Photo is by Kyle Johnsen in Downtown Los Angeles.

It's impressive, but I think it may be better to decrease the red in the colour balance a bit.

hehe I'm not terribly good with photoshop or any of that stuff. Although the photographer I think is gonna give some of my new photos to my friend to photoshop them so they look nice. ^_^

I wasn't expecting this. I ended up in your gallery with the hilarious Man Faye photo, and then decided to have a look at your entire gallery. Sure, you look cute as Aeris and specially as Belle, and all your cosplays are very well made, but this photo is just something else.
Sure, white tones are burnt and so much light makes it very hard to appreciate details both on the skirt and top, but still, the desing is simply great, the silver/blue tones work great and the chains add a lot of style and personality to it, I love the way they start at the necklace ring. It's an excellent fashion desing with its own jewelry. My most sincere congratulations!
And yes, I also have to say it, you look beautiful in this photo. A girl modelling her cosplay clothes? I don't think so, I'd say an attractive model modelling a brilliant desing!

That is a little misleading, also since you also said "I had literally a week to come up with a design that individually fit the body style and personality of each sister. " I sorta expected that they would have at least deisgned the costume themselves and well, get their parents/tailor/anyone to turn it into reality.

I have no problem- The way I saw it was:
School Project -> don't know what to do -> Go to big sister -> Big sister does the work.
Its okay if family helps for projects and stuff, but not for the entire thing. From the description, it sounded like looked like you did all the work for them. Well, at least you cleared up that bit.

it wasn't a school project it was a (ripoffmymotherpaidmoneyfor) modeling training agency. I thought that part was obvious with me putting in quotations "modeling school". i.e. teaching them how to be runway/catalog models.
I did do all the work though. They didn't do a thing. But so what? They didn't have to make them themselves, they just had to get outfits or find or make or somehow acquire something metal themed. They could have paid a seamstress and it wouldn't have mattered. I didn't think it was necessary to fill up my description explaining this--it isn't pertinent information to the garment; the deviation was about my design--if anything I should have just said "this is my design" and left it at that. Then nobody would have taken offense to the way I worded something. God save the internet!

Well, it may not have been pertinent to the garment, but it gives a background and more information to how the piece came about. There's people who actually read the descriptions and not just the picture.
