This is SO good! The background is fantastic, too, gotta say. The ocean looks very realistic and I love the character's design. Her armour and hair are wonderful.

Aha, the armor looks....tribal and fully decorated. If she's not a pirate, then she must be a very important person!

I noticed you always include very nice background behind your character, it really adds up the quality and the value, not to mention the beauty as well

Thanks very much! He's a luxury goods merchant. Though where he gets his stuff is questionable so he might not be so different to a pirate after all haha

Very nice, I really like you have the background all blurred while Nereus is clear. I especially like the realism of his hair with it dark at the roots and fading to a blond. The brush technique you use blurs his armor and his skin together in some parts and doesn't clearly define the lines and shades/shadows. The bones are pretty cool decorative touch.

Yep. But rather than play around with the lighting, I wonder how he would look in say steel colored armor, but the bronze really suits him.

No, it's okay, but I would work a tad more the shadows of his arm held over his abdomen to have it stand out more, maybe?
