Taken during the rain as a thunderstorm came rolling across the sky. The following is a poem I wrote inspired by the photo and some events of my life, and the words should be treated as part of the deviation.

Silence
A joyful tear
No single care,
No single fear

Brewing beyond the horizon
Tension growling beast
Threatening to conquer
May anger be released

Dangerously it lurks
And rumbles low and deep
The storm will ruin everything
I've learned to love and keep

Momentum cannot cease now
Its falling all around
And all I've ever learned to love
Is washed down underground

The roaring in the heavens
Is deafening my thoughts
The rainfall rusts the heavy chains,
My heart is ripped and wrought

Silence
A broken mind

Tear my heart in two
And leave the pieces behind.
