That is STUNNING work. How do you use a sponge and syringe to apply/take off paint? I would imagine that you'd use the sponge to gently dab on and off paint, but I can't figure out the syringe. Do you squirt paint on? Suction it off? IDK.

I used the syringe with a modified hypodermic needle for do the thin lines that outlines the scales in turtle's flippers. I cut the point of hypodermic needle and then I bend it slightly in the tip.
I used a rough sponge for make part of the texture in the coral reef.

So then with the needle, did you apply it like a paintbrush or did you apply paint by squirting it out?

I squirted softly trying to do the lines the most evenly possible.
