It's been sometimes since I last posted here...X3
Boy it felt so good to be able to CG again! XD
I tried to do Cell-shade coloring again, this time I imitated the coloring style from "Touhou 10.5 Scarlet Weather Rhapsody" [link]
The character I made is EX Rumia, a fan made character based on the character Rumia. [link]
Unfortunately, I only made the size for wide screen though... =/

there's no secret techniques whatsoever, really.
First of all you make the outline like any other drawing, it's the coloring that makes it looks like Alphes' style.
His shading is kind of random ans strays all over. So usually I make huge blocks of shade around one area and use eraser tool and randomly erases parts of it until it looks good. (seriously).
Alphes usually only use base color and shadow color, highlight is only on the hair and no darker shadows.
His choice of colors is also something to notice. When he colors something white, he didnt use gray for the shades, he uses colors. In mine is pinkish red, like in Komachi's portrait. Reimu and Marisa uses blue.
The style of the eye is another thing, Alphes has a distinct eye type.
