Emily, Hannah, Gloria and Amy worked in perfect unison. Within minutes each of the man’s formerly flailing limbs were secured to each corner of the trolley. Then the swearing, threats of violence and vicious misogyny started pouring out of the frustrated man’s mouth as he heaved against the straps while the nurses pulled them tight. Immediately Gloria, at the head of the trolley, pressed a rolled up pair of socks into the ranting male’s mouth. “That’s enough from you!” she told him sharply. “I hope you enjoy the taste of a 12 hour shift!” The man continued to rage at his captors, trying to spit the gag out, until Gloria efficiently tied it in place with a pair of her own nylon tights. “Shame to waste my new pantyhose on you!” she grumbled and tied the gag tight.
“Ok,” said Emily, “let’s wheel this oddball into the psychiatric assessment unit. He is their problem now!”
The bound and gagged patient tried to resist, but it was hopeless: the four women were in complete control.
“Girl Power!” laughed Amy as a couple of male mental health nurses emerged from the PAU to take receipt of the trolley.
