The kind-eyed boy who was guarding her tepee was easily tempted inside by the offer of some nourishing broth.
As he sat cross-legged, a happy and expectant expression on his face, next to the warrior princess while Moonlight prepared the soup, he grinned. “This is mighty kind of you, ma’am,” he told the women, until suddenly he felt Pocahontas’ blade at his throat.
“Hsst, outlaw,” the female brave warned him, “keep silent and you might yet live. Quick, Moonlight - fetch the rawhide with which to bind and gag him!”
And so the two women crept from the lodges and began to track their men, leaving their reluctant guest tied up behind them.
