Description
The final scene from the madcap 1965 movie ‘Honolulu Surprise’ which features two ditzy New York would-be models who answer an advert calling for ‘modern girls who want to make a fortune’ in Honolulu. Expecting a tropical paradise modelling experience, the young women instead encounter drugs smuggling gangsters, crazy beatniks and a military megalomaniac named Alberto Peng, who is raising a private army, James Bond-style, to take over the Pacific.
After a number of comedic mishaps, including accidentally kayoing a CIA operative sent to investigate Peng , the girls find their inner Modesty Blaise and set about infiltrating and bringing down Peng’s operation, in order to make amends. With the help of seductive sarongs, a group of chorus girls, drugged coconut cocktails and a box of dynamite, the girls win the day, bringing Peng and his lieutenants to justice!
