The worst bit about fighting Gloria, Damien found, was not so much losing, which he invariably did; not even the fact that the firm thighed blonde always made him say loudly “I surrender, ma’am,” after she had beaten him; it was even the gratuitous face slaps she would give him while straddling him. No, it was having to wait patiently while the sadistic witch made a great play of tying him up and gagging him.
Gloria always left Damien bound and gagged in the most humiliating places: the girls’ changing room; the teachers’ staff room; the gym, or in the middle of the main corridor. And that was before the Instagram pictures.
Sometimes Damien thought he hated his girlfriend!
