I made this months ago, but hadn't remembered DA had a photomanip section until today - I spend a lot of time doing photomanips but I somehow consider them not 'art', just things I get when I mess with Photoshop.So, Michael Wincott as Sandor Clegane from A Song of Ice and Fire. The original pic is from Robin Hood, the scars were cut out and unfocused and fusioned and all that stuff from a Darkman pic. He looks more sad than angry but I have a soft spot with this character and his angst is just too frigging heartbreaking *sighs in love*

this is exactly the guy i would have casted for the hound. i thought about it while reading the books. every time his part came up, in my head popped michael with his wonderful raspy voice. i think the show casted all kinds of people differently than i would have. but then maybe they couldnt get who they really wanted. i cant even watch it.

Amazing... I'm not often a fan of real life depictions of fictional characters (I am aware of the impending HBO series, which is fine due to the fact that it is the only station that could likely do the series justice) but this is an excellent depiction of that character. Very, very well done. I would say perhaps the most difficult issue with Gregor and Sandor Clegane would be casting actors who are anywhere near large enough to play them. Honestly, I can't imagine anything aside from casting a professional wrestler to play Gregor... although the Kugan from Highlander might do for Sandor if he is not too old...

Wow, nice photomanip. The scars look as if they're really part of him, not just edited on, though they look perhaps a bit too recent, as if there's no skin over them at all. He does look rather sad, but then, anger takes a great deal of energy, and I imagine he gets too tired for anger, from time to time. I'd pictured him thinner and more angular, but this guy still looks pretty good as him.
