Sharpclaw, deputy of SkyClan. Wonderful, intriguing and threedimensional character who keeps you guessing but turns out to be wise and reliable. One of my favorite deputies. He'll go behind his leader's back but not with disrespect, and not against his clan's best interest. Tigerclaw minus the betrayal and murder.Related content

I love Sharpclaw so much as a character- you summed him up brilliantly.Β
I have to admit, I've never been a fan of Skyclan. I read Firestar's Quest and Skyclan's Destiny and neither really gripped me. I never thought Leafstar was strict enough as a leader and the clan just seemed really dysfunctional (especially the daylight warriors and the ridiculous names some characters have).Β
But I always loved Sharpclaw, he was the perfect character to give Leafstar a kick up the arse every now and again by going against her or publically calling her out. I loved him in Hawkwing's Journey.

Really cool looking design, I liked how Sharpclaw wanted to test Leafstar's resolve and wouldn't back away from a challenge, like you said he's Tigerstar minus the obvious evil.

Sky Clan? I don't remember anything like that in first two series, I guess it was in next books. Anyway I like how you draw him and judging by this description and comments on him, it'd probably be one of my favourite characters. Very nice!

Agreed.. in all honesty I'd thought he'd turn out to be like Tigerstar! He always seemed to be unhappy with being deputy rather than leader.. but turns out he has no ill-intentions~ x3
