I had a video-type version of this uploaded previously, which was sort of a stop-motion animation of these images. It didn't turn out well. So here is the man burning, frame by frame.

A little back story...

If you don't know what burningman is, you can read about it here.. [link] . I have never been, but I am infatuated with the concept. In any case, over a grueling few hours, I constructed a tiny burningman of my own using only incense sticks and candle wax as glue. He is being held up by candle wax to a sheet of brown paper on my bedroom floor. We'll get to that fact in a moment.

Now, notice the big burnt hole in the paper which I so intelligently used as the background for these shots. Yeah. As it turns out, paper is flammable. This is also why there is no "finale" shot to go along with this. My entire room filled with smoke, and I nearly caught the carpet on fire. If there had been a final shot for this series, it would have been as the camera was flung aside and I tried desperately to put out the fire, open windows, use fans, and block the crack under my door so the whole house didn't fill up with smoke. Thank god for the lack of smoke detectors around here.

Future projects... possibly sparklers? We'll see. Love for you all.
